This is a retraction. Back in June I slated Seth Macfalane for inviting Rush Limbaugh to do a cameo on Family guy. Rush Limbaugh is racist, sexist and idiotic. He’s an overweight, drug attickted, bigot or as Keith Olbermann put it “a big bag of mashed up jackass”.
So back in June I was very disappointed when Seth Macfalane announced he would perform a voice cameo on Family Guy. Today I watched the episode. It was good and I can’t understand why (if he believes the shit coming out of his fat mouth) he did it. He allowed the cartoon to undermine his far-right nonsense. It was funny and more importantly it was funny at his expense. I didn’t want to laugh at a racist but if he can laugh at himself then I can laugh at him.
Don’t get me wrong, I still think he’s a massive walking cunt, i’m writing this to reaffirm my previously diminished respect for Seth Macfalane, a man I idolised while studying animation in college. You might think this is extraneous but seeing as this blog is made up of my opinions I think it only right that I admit to getting things wrong. Shortly after condemning the cartoon I was emailed by a reader who told me that as long as Seth was controlling the script Rush would come out the fool, and you were right.
